Unique artisan process: At DURĆI, we work directly with the farmers to produce the finest quality cocoa beans that enables us to highlight the unique flavors found in these incredible heirloom varieties without the need to over process or add additives to highlight the flavor.
Better than Fair trade: We stand strong on the long-term relationships that Eric Durtschi has created directly with the farmers. We are Direct Trade & pay significantly higher prices than what the fair trade price is. We work directly with the farmer, their families, & communities. This symbiotic relationship allows exclusive ways of preparing specific harvests of the cocoa beans not sold to any other chocolate maker.

DURĆI is a fantastic chocolate maker. DURĆI’s 70% Peruvian bar is made with the renowned cacao blanco.
This particular bar is the most floral chocolate I’ve ever tasted. This may sound totally obnoxious, but the best way to describe the taste of this bar is to say that eating it is like stepping into a flower garden. The delicate, perfumey flavor reminds me of… roses. Or violets, maybe?
If you’re hosting a chocolate tasting and want to include a floral chocolate in the mix, I recommend this one, hands down.
